As a musician and songwriter, Scot’s career started when his band Wanderlust signed with RCA Records and toured with Collective Soul while their single “I Walked” written by Sax climbed the charts and received massive airplay on major rock stations around the country. From there his songs appeared everywhere from soundtracks like American Pie to Grammy-winning top 10 smashes like his co-written song “Like We Never Loved at All” by Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. He toured the U.S. on the Raising Sand Tour (Robert Plant and Alison Krauss) and produced along side icons like Don Was (Bonnie Rait, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan) as well as Mark Howard (Daniel Lanois, Dylan, Neil Young).
